Creating a Unique Concept for a Cafe in Khabarovsk
Our task was to create an unconventional concept for a cafe that combines Pan-Asian and European cuisine. We decided to bring together these two cultures and culinary directions, resulting in a friendly mix filled with playful copywriting, starting with the name itself. We created a character – a fictional founder of the establishment with their own habits, and preferences for the cuisines of Asian and European nations.
Ivan Van, who is he?
"Ivan Van has never been a person of contrasts. His love for coffee never prevented him from mastering the tea ceremony. He looks equally stylish behind a low antique table and on a high bar stool. Brought up in European culture but in accordance with Eastern traditions, Ivan Van believes that fusion is always the best option. As an aesthete, traveler and music lover, he is the face and soul of our cafe bar. Who is he and where he comes from? We don't really know. But no one has ever seen you and Ivan Van in the same room at the same time."
